OAFC Military Veterans Raise £1500 For Their Project!
Participants of the Oldham Athletic Military Veterans project recently held an Armed Forces Family Fun Day, which raised an incredible £1500 which will be re-invested back into the project.
The event, which was held at The Ace Pub, Fitton Hill, provided an opportunity for the whole family to engage in activities whilst raising money for the military veterans project and was planned by those who attend the project themselves.
This evening, we visited the Ace Pub in Fitton Hill to celebrate our @OAFCVeterans fundraising £1500 towards their project! đź‘Ź

Patrick McQuaid, who has been part of the project since the beginning explained that, ‘We wanted to show the community that the project is available to those that need it and also demonstrate that we, as a project, want to give something back in anyway that we can. We were truly humbled by the generosity shown by all those who attended on the day and in the build up with raffle prizes and donating items for the auction. With would like to say a huge thanks to The Ace for hosting the event for us and providing food on the day’
